SHORT FILMS.
THE
COMPANY.
Led by filmmaker Arman Ananikyan, we make films about people and the ways they shape one another.
MEET THE FOUNDER ↗︎Our stories move across genres, settings, and time periods, exploring different characters, conflicts, and moral questions. We approach each film as an opportunity to examine how people affect one another and the choices they make together.
At a time when many people are spending less time together, we believe cinema offers a reason to reconnect. Our goal is to bring audiences together through films that entertain, introduce different perspectives, and give people something to discuss. By exploring relationships on screen, we hope to encourage a greater understanding of the people in our own lives.
ARMAN
ANANIKYAN.
Arman Ananikyan is an Armenian filmmaker and the founder of AREVIN Productions. Born in Moscow, he grew up in Prague before moving to New Jersey and later Southern California.
With a filmmaker father, cinema was part of his upbringing. Growing up around movies developed into a love of directing and the craft of bringing a story to life. He finds meaning in the entire process, from shaping the first idea and working with actors to discovering the film in the edit and sharing it with an audience.
For Arman, filmmaking is about creating an experience that continues beyond the screening. He wants audiences to feel something meaningful, to keep thinking about a character or discussing a story days after watching it. Each film offers a different opportunity to make that connection. Whatever the genre or setting, that is the purpose behind his work.
He is pursuing a BFA in Screenwriting at Chapman University, with an intended minor in Business of Entertainment. He also completed the Warner Bros. Producing & Directing summer program at USC’s School of Cinematic Arts.
